My name is Loretta Shaver and I am a registered massage therapist that is passionate about my career. I obtained my certificate from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Which I had an extraordinary learning experience during my practicum, working on clients with an experienced mentor teaching me how to tailor my treatments to address specific concerns and promote healing for each individual client. I continue my education every year to ensure I can provide an evolving service for my clientele, to help them with their specific needs.

I began my learning of anatomy and massage after an 18 year career as a heavy duty mechanic and I am very passionate about my education and dedicated to continue learning. My history as a mechanic encouraged me to learn the human anatomy similar to a machine. Therefore, I have a particularly good understanding of why some issues or ailments present in the body the way that they do, because of this I use massage with movement of the body when needed during treatment.

My services are individualized to each client's needs and wants. I offer therapeutic massage using multiple techniques, such as deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. I provide relaxation massage in a warm and compassionate demeanor for those interested using Swedish massage techniques. I have also been trained in acupressure massage working with the meridians of the body. 

I create a comfortable and rejuvenating experience for all those that seek my expertise. I provide direct billing for most insurance companies, please inquire prior to appointment to ensure this can be done for your benefits.
